Today we're talking about Anbernic which has just launched the Anbernic RG556, a relatively powerful gaming handheld that competes with the Retroid Pocket 4. Launching with Android 13 for $174.99, the Anbernic RG556 features hall-effect triggers and joysticks, along with a six-axis gyroscope.

A week after revealing the performance levels of PS2 emulation and Android games, Anbernic has now confirmed full launch details for the RG556. As expected, Anbernic sells the RG556 in multiple color options. However, it chose not to launch the device in the glossy white color that was leaked late last month.
