While we haven't reviewed the Ryzen 7 8845HS yet, we think it's a Ryzen 7 7840HS in disguise, and the performance metrics shared by AOOSTAR confirm this.
According to the mini PC maker, the Cinebench 23 benchmark scores of GOD78 and GOD88 are almost identical. You can check the score in the image attached at the end.
Also, Ryzen 7 8845HS and Ryzen 7 7840HS have the same iGPU. It's the Radeon 780M, which is an excellent integrated graphics solution that delivers corresponding frame rates in our benchmark tests. Therefore, both mini gaming PCs will provide identical performance. But yes, the new Hawk Point processor has a 16 TOPS NPU.
Connectivity and Other Features
Other Features of the new mini gaming PC include a 40G USB 4 port. This port provides the ability to connect to discrete GPUs, although upgrading to an OcuLink port can make computers work better with eGPU solutions. Additionally, the new AOOSTAR GOD88 features the same futuristic cyberpunk-inspired chassis as its predecessor, with a powerful cooling system inside. You can know more in the image attached below.
As for pricing, Tianbao will start accepting pre-orders for the GOD88 mini PC in China on February 5 at CNY 2,688, which is equivalent to about $378. It should only be launched on the international market after its sale in China.
